"Meeting of Minds" (PBS – 1976-1980) Emmy nomination for Florence Nightingale, wrote and played Queen Cleopatra, Catherine the Great, Marie Antoinette, feminists Susan B. Anthony and Margaret Sanger, poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning and Shakespeare’s mistress as well as Juliet, Kate, and Desdemona.

"High Society" (CBS 1998) Jayne received an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of the mother of Mary McDonnell ("Dances With Wolves") in this outrageous CBS comedy series which also starred Jayne's good friend Jean Smart ("Designing Women").
